How
it works:
The sessions are very casual with the goal in mind
to capture beautiful portraits that will be
treasured for years to come. Whether it is in your
home, or a nearby park, shooting on location
provides a comfortable, natural, pleasant setting
for your family.
The session typically lasts one hour, giving enough
time to capture the best images possible.
Julie will work with you to determine a time that
best suits your schedule.
In the
next few days, Julie will go through and edit your
photos, enhancing color and selecting some for black
and white. Your photos will then be put
on a CD in high resolution for you to print however
you like. She can also email you a
secure link to your private online gallery. From
this gallery, you may download any and all of your
pictures and share the link with friends and family.
Pricing
The
session fee is $150 plus sales tax. It covers:

Traveling studio with all necessary photographic
equipment for indoor or outdoor shots.

One
hour of professional photography.

Photo
editing (black and white, color enhancement,
sepia, hand-tinting, etc.)

Online
gallery for picture viewing and downloading.

Print
Release Form allowing you to make unlimited
prints!

CD
containing all high resolution images for your
own printing.
The Online Gallery
About 3-7 days after the photo session, you will
receive a link by email to your private online
gallery of images. Your gallery will be available
for one month, during which time you may view and
download your pictures. Images will then be
archived for one year and may be retrieved from our
archives for a nominal retrieval fee. You may send
the email link to relatives and friends for their
viewing enjoyment and they may also make prints.
The Copyright
Please note that Julie Kruger Photography is
different to other photographers.
You should be able to make as many prints as you
want. For legal reasons, the copyright is
retained, but your pictures include a Print Release
enabling you to have the freedom to print however
you like and share with family and friends.
Furthermore, if you choose to send your pictures to
relatives or friends, they may also make unlimited
prints.
Tips and Hints
It is
recommended to bring at least one simple outfit, such as a white shirt
with jeans or khakis, but also feel free to bring along bold colors and
rich textures. Be certain to avoid anything overly distracting,
such as large logos and busy patterns.
If children
are being photographed together, clothes that are similar in style and
tone will give a more coordinated look.
Bare skin is
always a favorite with newborns and babies. A simple diaper
cover is perfect for portraits. Clothing should compliment your
child's look, not complicate it. Any questions, just

Beginnings
Capture
the radiance of pregnancy and the joy of your
newborn baby with this wonderful, two-session
package. The maternity session is scheduled for the
last trimester and the newborn session within the
first four weeks of your newborn's life. In
addition to all pictures, also included in this
package are 25 free birth announcements!
Julie brings her transportable studio including
black, white or grey backdrops to set up in the
comfort of your own home.

Possibly
the most important sequence of sessions that you
could have, this package includes 4 sessions within
a 12- to 14-month period, typically within the first
14 days of birth, at 3 months, at 6 months, and at 1
year.
